Pakistan army arrests former ISI chief over graft and misuse of office

Former ISI chief Lt Gen Faiz Hameed has been taken into military custody and court-martialed over corruption and misuse of authority allegations. Accused of torturing and robbing a private housing society owner, disciplinary action has been initiated under the Pakistan Army Act. This marks the first court martial of a former ISI chief in Pakistan’s history.
